From The Forks of the Credit Inn to The Liberty Inn

For years, travelers have known this historic property as The Forks of the Credit Inn—a beloved gathering place at the heart of Caledon. Built in 1855, it has been a post office, a general store, and, in more recent memory, an inn that welcomed countless guests to the beauty of the Credit Valley.

After a loving restoration, it begins a new chapter as The Liberty Inn. While the spaces have been reimagined with thoughtful design and modern comforts, the spirit of hospitality remains the same. We warmly welcome all past guests of The Forks of the Credit Inn to return and experience the building once more—now infused with new life, fresh details, and a renewed commitment to connection, comfort, and care.

We invite you to learn more about the inn’s history and learn more about us, the new innkeepers.
