The Pine: A Must-Visit Culinary & Getaway Experience!
We first discovered The Pine back when it was a small, intimate treasure in Collingwood, and we loved it from the very start — so when they relocated to Creemore, we couldn’t wait to return. Both visits exceeded every expectation.
From the moment you walk in, it’s clear you’re in for something special. The Pine has earned national recognition and critical acclaim for its tasting menu, its refined approach to seasonal ingredients, and the passion of the team behind it. The experience strikes that rare balance of technical precision and warmth — thoughtful, beautifully plated courses that change with the seasons, each explained with genuine care and hospitality.
We do miss the cozy, tucked-away feel of the original Collingwood location — there was something wonderfully intimate about that first space. But the Creemore setting brings its own charm. The renovated space is minimalist, bright, and calming, making the food and the service the stars of the evening.
And the town itself is worth the trip. Creemore is a small, picturesque village in the heart of Ontario’s countryside, known for its heritage buildings, brewery, and beautiful rolling landscape along the Niagara Escarpment. Its main street is lined with small shops, cafés, galleries, and historic sites — it’s the kind of place that feels like a discovery in every direction. Pair dinner at The Pine with a leisurely walk through town, a stop at the brewery, or even an overnight stay nearby, and it becomes a perfect mini-escape.
We’re always watching the calendar to see when we can schedule a night away so we can go back. Exceptional food, genuine hospitality, and a setting that feels both special and unpretentious — what more could you ask for?
11/10 experience. Highly recommend.
