At The Liberty Inn, we believe that getaways are even more meaningful when shared with every member of the family—including the four-legged kind. That’s why well-behaved dogs are warmly welcomed in Suites No. 2 and 3, so you never have to choose between time away and time together.

Tucked beside scenic trails and surrounded by Caledon’s natural beauty, our boutique inn offers the perfect place to unwind, explore, and reconnect—with your pup by your side.

  • Suite No. 3 – Florian

    Florian is 1 of 2 designated dog-friendly suites, filled with warmth, charm, and thoughtful craftsmanship.
    Features include:

    A sunken king bedroom with garden views

    Open-concept kitchenette, dining, and living area

    Handmade ceramic tiles, exposed beams, and original stained glass

    Ground-level access for easy in-and-out with your pup

    A small pet fee applies to each stay. We kindly ask that dogs are not left alone in the suite unless crated, and that they remain on-leash while on the property. Please let us know in advance if you’re bringing your pup so we can prepare accordingly.

  • Suite No. 2 - Norwood

    The Norwood Suite is or largest one bedroom with steam shower and a fireplace. A pet friendly retreat blending historic charm and modern comfort. Every corner is infused with carefully preserved historic elements, from the exposed limestone walls of the original post-office circa 1855, to the beautiful red brick doorway from the 1920’s, and the burgundy partition which served to divide the kitchen from the dining from when the building served as a local restaurant.

  • Hiking

    Right from our front door, you and your pup can explore two incredible trails—Forks of the Credit Provincial Park and the Elora Cataract Trailway.

    Both begin just steps from the inn, offering easy access to winding forest paths, scenic river views, and peaceful meadows. Dogs are welcome on both trails, making them the perfect spots for fresh air, long walks, and shared outdoor adventures.

  • Pet Friendly Attractions

    Caledon offers delightful pet-friendly attractions for you and your four-legged companion.

    At GoodLot Farmstead Brewing Co., enjoy farm-to-table beers in their welcoming beer garden, complete with live music and food trucks, all in a dog-friendly environment.

    Nearby, the Alton Mill Arts Centre invites you to explore galleries, artist studios, and unique shops; well-behaved, leashed dogs are welcome to join you as you peruse this historic venue.

Private Spa Access

Enjoy exclusive access to our Nordic spa area, featuring a cedar hot tub, Finnish sauna, and cold plunge. Dogs are welcome to join you in the spa area as long as they remain supervised and you clean up after them. While pups can’t hop in the water, they’re more than welcome to relax nearby while you unwind and recharge.

Bed & Breakfast

Each suite’s fridge comes fully stocked with thoughtful breakfast essentials—fresh fruit, eggs, ready-to-bake croissants, butter, jam, and more—so you can enjoy a slow, cozy morning with your dog curled up nearby.
